Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Executive to grow our presence in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. This remote-based role is ideal for a self-starter with strong sales instincts, territory management experience, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships. You’ll be working with an established book of business while identifying new opportunities in the contractor, multifamily, hospitality, and retail channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales in a multi-state territory: Northern CA, OR, and WA
- Develop and execute a business plan to achieve individual and team revenue goals
- Prospect, present, and close new accounts through phone, in-person meetings, and trade shows
- Maintain relationships with key accounts while expanding into new verticals
- Track leads, sales activities, and pipeline progress in our CRM
- Deliver clear and compelling presentations to contractors, developers, and distributors
- Stay informed on product updates, installation needs, and industry trends
- Represent AEI at regional events, customer visits, and national tradeshows (approx. 20–25 travel days/year)
Requirements
- Proven success in B2B field sales, account management, or territory development
- Self-motivated and able to work independently from a home office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management, planning, and follow-through
- Comfortable with CRM systems, MS Office, and virtual presentations
- Basic technical aptitude (ability to understand gas/electric appliance specs)
- Experience in HVAC, building materials, or appliance industries a plus
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings or layouts a bonus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, but not required
